Clinicas Dental Health is one of aided schools by the Ministry of Health of the Junta de Andalucía for the provision of Children's Dental Assistance Plan Andalusia (PADIA).
Child dental care plan (PADI)
Children aged between 6 and 15 years living in Andalucía are entitled to receive basic dental care and certain specialty treatments free via Health Card Social Security.
Clinicas Dental Health is one of aided schools by the Ministry of Health of the Junta de Andalucía for the provision of Children's Dental Assistance Plan Andalusia (PADI).
What age range are covered and to what extent?
All persons who are in the age group between 6 and 15 years are entitled to dental care delivery until 31 December of the year in which they reach 15.
What coverage is included?
The child is entitled to an annual review containing instructions on oral hygiene, diet, etc.., With scouting and monitoring the permanent dentition and optional in cases where advice. Always at the discretion of each dentist, you can do:
· The sealing cracks or pits in healthy permanent teeth will prevent tooth decay.
· The shutter in the permanent teeth (fillings) when there are cavities.
· The most appropriate treatment of injuries of the pulp.
· The removal of temporary teeth (baby teeth).
· The removal of a permanent tooth, provided at the discretion of your dentist header has no other conservative treatment.
· The tartar removal (cleaning), when the detected number and / or extrinsic pigmentation permanent dentition.
· It shall also cover, with certain formal requirements, special treatment for certain injuries or deformities of canine incisors. These special treatments require the agreement in individual holder of the corresponding Provincial Delegation of Health, upon presentation of a dentist's clinical report header, which justifies the need of such treatment.
What assistance does not cover?
Those treatments necessary because of injury when there is a charge that must bear the cost of that treatment, orthodontic treatment and fillings in primary teeth (baby teeth).
When and where I have to contact to apply?
Previously sent to the homes of children eligible for dental care or check a letter they had to submit to any dentist belonging to the program.
Currently, children must attend with a parent or guardian and a health card to the dentist of their choice from the Junta de Andalucía.
In addition, Health Center (Civic Service) and the Provincial Delegation of Health (Planning, Management and Quality Care), may provide information.
